"PROFESSIONAL & PERSONAL CEREMONIES"
I am a graduate of the Australian & International College of
Celebrancy, a foundation member of the International College of Celebrants
Alumni and an active committee member of that group.
Having completed the COMPREHENSIVE course of study, I attained my Diploma
of Marriage Celebrancy (with High Distinction) and was duly authorised and
registered by the Federal Attorney General's Department as a Civil Marriage
Celebrant on 1st September 2004.
Although my appointment is comparatively recent, I have already celebrated
well over 100 Marriage Ceremonies, and have many forward bookings into
2010.
I am "as keen as mustard" to create a meaningful and memorable ceremony,
and would feel privileged to conduct a ceremony that is
uniquely yours.
I enjoy developing ceremonies that suit each couple's individual
personalities and needs. You may be assured that, in my dealings with you,
the client, I will always adopt a relaxed and friendly, yet highly
professional approach in composing a ceremony of your choice.
I am bound by, adhere to and respect the national privacy principles of the Privacy Act 1988. I will always treat with the utmost confidentiality the personal information that you provide to me during the process of creating your unique ceremony.
In creating a personalised ceremony of excellence that suits you, I am
fully dedicated towards promoting high ideals and strong ethical standards.
Your wedding day is so important that it needs
no stress.
Therefore, my personal rule of life is,
"Do the common things uncommonly well".
Consistent with a highly professional code of ethics, when you become a
valued client of mine, you will be entitled to, and will receive, the
following standards of service from me:
1. I supply you with a copy of the resource book by Dally
Messenger,"Ceremonies and Celebrations", or equivalent.
2. I give you a complete choice of ceremony.
3. At a relaxed interview with me, you discuss all your wedding
requirements.
4. You are entitled to, and will receive, unlimited consultation by phone,
e-mail or in person right up until the wedding day.
5. You are entitled to, and I recommend, an on site rehearsal (within a
reasonable distance of the Melbourne CBD) at a mutually convenient time.
This is held usually during the week just before the wedding.
6. As part of your arrangement with me, you will receive a laser printed
copy of your ceremony in an A5 booklet form, in an attractive, decorative
cover. This booklet will become a memento of your special day.
7. Your presentation wedding certificate is laser printed.
8. On request, I provide Appreciation Certificates to the wedding party
and others for a minimal cost.
9 Ample time: I guarantee that no other wedding will be booked on the same
day as yours. I always plan to arrive at least 45 minutes before the bride
is due to make her entrance, i.e. the planned starting time.
10. I give my personal guarantee that I will do my best to become familiar
with the words of the ceremony beforehand, and will read my part in a
sincere and interested manner.
11. As far as possible, I will dress to fit in with your wedding. (For
example, you have a choice of lounge suit, dinner suit, or neat casual.)
